I am resisting these so far since historicals aren't my favorite, but you all are making a persuasive case. I am going so far as to add the first one to my "maybe" shelf.
I read the first one, and was very frustrated that the romance was next to nil and the ending wasn't even an HFN. I'm hoping to start the next one soon. I know Amaranth loved them, and I'm glad you did too:-)
Me too, me too! I liked this one sooo much - you just have to see the first one as a prologue for the delicious tension and the great great romance in this one. Honestly, it wouldn't be sooo goood if not for the long wait.
You are so right! It was great to have this handled in such a sensitive way - that's rare for m/m, with her being in love with David and him liking her so much as a person.
:-))))
