A hero shouldn't be just a person who's willing to do good. We need to see the struggle to do good. Doing good is not easy. If it were, we wouldn't be so awed by heroes. In the first Hunger Games, Katniss is not given a serious challenge. She's not forced to kill a person she doesn't want to. She just kills for revenge for Rue's death.

Heroes are, in the end, humans like us. It's in these moral struggles that heroes reveal themselves the most. Tris has more of these moments, where she was allowed to be selfish and do immoral things because she's human.

I still enjoyed the Hunger Games, especially Mockingjay.
