It is -- I followed it up with a Golden Age Christmas mystery short story audio anthology, and though I was familiar with all except the first one of the stories I've listened to so far, I'm enjoying it enormously. (Need to add it to the BookLikes DB so as to be able to add it to my shelves, though ...)
These three authors are not at all my jam either; Fluke's persistence with a love triangle over 20-some books pissed me off after book 3 or 4; she might have the honour of being the first series I ever quit, come to think of it. Laura Levine was another I couldn't get into for all the reasons you mentioned above, although her mystery plotting was decent. Leslie Meier I read decades ago, when her first one Lucy Stone book came out; I only remember that the tone felt flat to me, which I chalked up to the MC being a minister's wife.
This reminds me of a trope I hate though, that I should have included in my Festive Tasks: authors who use cutesy "swearing" instead of just letting a dammit pass through their characters' lips. It's so juvenile it drives me insane.
I'm down to the last 3 stories -- 2 of which I know as well. They're still going to be fun listening to again.
