Ah, I'd been considering doing a romance list. But my years of reading romance is not as much as others, ie, Whisky or Linda or Jennifer. I'll see what I can round up though, after I get home from work. =D
1. A Knight in Shining Armor by Jude Devereaux. Start of her Montgomery series and her time traveling series too.
2. Castles by Julie Garwood. I loved this one and it’s oart of a series focusing on same family and friends in regency era.
3. Keeper of the Heart by Joanna Lindsay. I recall reading this as a kid and loving the whole thing with fantasy elements too.
I just posted a list of romances which probably exceeds the number we need. Whittle the list down as needed! I hadn't seen the newest update until after I posted my list. I might have gotten a little out of control.
This is an amazing list. Thank you so much for your efforts, Moonlight and Themis :).
And what I realized while scrolling through the list: there´s an Anne Bronte and two Charlotte Brontes on the list, but no Emily Bronte. It´s good to know that I´m not the only one who didn´t like Wuthering Heights (I thoroughly detested it).
I don't hate it (and I actually even rather like the Prunella Scales / Samuel West audio). But it's no dice on "Jane Eyre" and "The Tenant of Wildfell Hall".
