Excellent review! I enjoyed the Hebrew even though I can't read any of it. I don't know what's always attracted me to the Hebrew language. I can't decide if it's because it's so ... I don't know archaic or primal or if it's just the whole mystery because I could never understand it. I don't think it's the easiest language to try to learn when all you speak is English.

That book looks so interesting. I'm putting it on my wish list. I'd like to see if it makes me feel like that and if not if I would be identify whatever emotion it made me feel. I guess I'll have to read to find out but it sounds like it deals with alot of heavy stuff. Unfortunately no matter what someone's done it's hard when your heart is involved. Even when someone does bad things your heart doesn't always just stop loving them.

I just spend the last hour correcting this HUGE review. god, I think it will surely be a while before I do a double language review...
I think it's funny you find the letters so interesting I never thought that about any language and I was never that curious of other languages. Though I started learning German a few years back.
It IS different. that's why I feel this review is somehow different from all the previous reviews I did. I added a paragraph saying I think that because I translated the English version from the Hebrew one the English was kinda off. You shouldn't do that. Translate from one language sentence by sentence it doesn't work. You should think about it in English then paraphrase it. Though think about a translated book, you actually DO translate word-by-word, right?

The book is wonderful, and it's so short I don't see why not invest one afternoon for it. I think it mostly deals with "the soul", Michael's struggle throughout the years, what happens to him in live and how he sees it. His journey is amazing. less than one year of his life with her, yet everything that happens after that is somehow affected by that time, their time together. and I don't think that he did forgive her. I think it's quite obvious he never have. That's what's so beautiful about it. That he's still mad at her.
