Worse than love triangles?

Had to think about that one. Most of the time the love triangles are limited to YA and romance, so at least I can anticipate and prepare my defenses. But info dumps creep into every genre. They're like cockroaches, breeding in the walls and dark corners.

I get a lot of them in cozies (love triangles, not roaches) so I think they'd have to go up to the top of the list for me along with info dumps. I can handle 1st/present better than I can those two, if it's written well.

Ah. Well, I've just started dipping my toes into the cozy mystery pool, so my feelings about triangles might change.
