I haven't read this one yet, but after having a squee-fest over all of her Raven Cycle books, one of my goals in life is to read all the Stiefvater work.
I hadn't expected much when I read the first book, since the summary had put so much emphasis on the whole "one true love" trope, and so I figured it was a typical YA paranormal love story; but I couldn't put it down after I started reading. Stiefvater has a way with words and, it was one of the first YA books I'd read in a long time where I found myself laughing out loud at some of the passages.
Disclaimer: I know some people have found it boring because the story tends to meander a lot, though.
