Dark Witch definitely fits this category - it's very much a supernatural read and it's even a little bit scary. Not sleep with the lights on scary, but it's not all fluffy flowers and romance either. Great fit for this square, I think!

You've got some great picks - and I hope you enjoy all the reads (especially any you may have found through me!, lol).

Hmm, that sounds promising. I guess I just automatically assumed that Dark Witch would be on the fluffier side of scary since it's a romance. I'm now even more excited!

lol And I am really glad you brought up the cozies in previous posts. The more I think about it, the more I'm looking forward to reading the Annelise Ryan books. Just checked out Working Stiff and am going to have it read soon so I can just jump into Scared Stiff in the next two months.

And also, I'm side-eyeing the Sherlock Holmes picks because they'll be my first reads of anything Sir A. C. Doyle, and they're both right dab smack in the middle of some series lists I found. But I'm giving myself an okay this time, because I know they're supposed to be stand-alones, right? And I don't have to read them in order. Right?

Sorry, seems like a silly concern. :P

I'll probably end up listening to the rest of the Sherlock Holmes collection I have as soon as this Bingo is over, though.

No, Sherlock does not have to be read in any order. If you want to read the first story, where Holmes and Watson mean and have their first adventure, that's A Study in Scarlet and is worth it if you have the time, so you can see the beginning. Everything else is pretty much a free-for-all.

Ghost Story by Jeff Brackett is really good, I read it last year.
Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is also good and well worth a read.

I remember a lot of people liking Ghost Story last year. I got the Kindle freebie when everyone else did, but never got around to reading it, even though it's pretty short.

A lot of your picks are unfamiliar to me, but I'm looking forward to your reviews as you read them. Like you, I doubt I'll get a blackout, but after all the time spent to plan, I am motivated to get all the books read & reviewed. Especially since I already own them all!

To be honest, a lot of my picks are unfamiliar to me as well. :P I'm giving myself the chance to branch out a little bit during this Bingo game and see how well that works. Although I DID try really hard to loophole my way into books I'd be more comfortable reading, which happened to end up being a lot of mysteries and crime thrillers. So this will be an interesting two months. O.o
