I loved this book so much! It scared the stuffing out of me, but I loved it anyway. Glad you enjoyed it too - do you plan to read any of her other books?

lol I often try to read ghost stories during the bright of daytime so as not to get the stuffing scared out of me--I'm a scaredy cat like that. Which probably makes people wonder why I like to read ghost stories at all. hehe But there were definitely some creepy parts that still made me jump a time or two.

I've been meaning to get back to reading Simone St. James since 'Maddy Clare' so I'm glad that Snakes and Ladders gave me that push, though you'd think I'd have read at least another of her books for Halloween already. But, yeah, I'm reading 'The Other Side of Midnight' (also for Snakes and Ladders), and definitely plan on reading the rest of her books. They're very atmospheric and I loved the little seaside town descriptions, and the moodiness of the the setting in this book!

In a series of books where it's hard to choose my favorite, I can say that The Other Side of Midnight was my least favourite. It was still good! But it missed that certain something for me. I hope you're enjoying it. :)
