I´m glad that I reread Hyperion, because I was fuzzy on the detail.
The Fall of Hyperion is quite interesting. It starts of with a Cybrid, who dreams about the people on Hyperion. There is a specific connection between the Cybrid and one of the Pilgrims, but I won´t tell you who it is ;)

I started it last year and the fact that your description isn't jogging my memory means I need to start from the beginning. lol Looking forward to hearing your thoughts. :)
Yeah, the problem with audio is that you're sort of a captive audience. Unless it's so boring your mind can wander, you really are forced to hear everything, and at someone else's pace. Makes it hard to skip over the awful parts.
That's very true. There are several books that I probably wouldn't love nearly as much had I first experienced them in the bound version, and some that I've thought, well, I probably should have done bound instead of audio.
