Arsenic as birth control -- horrors never cease.
Btw, do you remember Lord Peter's casual reference to "those Styrian peasants" in the final confrontation scene in "Strong Poison"? I get a whole new sort of kick out of that scene ever since I read "A Is for Arsenic". :D
