I love this book.

I'm reading this one for bingo.

I hope we both end up enjoying this book, Hol :)

I´m listening to the audiobook and so far I really like the narrator, which I unfrotunately don´t know the name of at the moment.
Judging by the cover of your audio, she's Bernadette Dunne. I listened to this audio for bingo last year or the year before and found the book -- and her narration -- absolutely riveting ... to the point, however, that I doubt I'll revisit this book anytime soon. Unquestionably brilliant though it is, it was all really on the outer edge of what I'm able to take.

Thanks, Themis :). I have absolutely no clue what this story is about, so I haven´t gotten a clue what´s before me. It seems like it´s going to be a harrowing read? I´m certainly looking forward to listen to more of it.
Not necessarily harrowing, but psychological horror of the most sublime and seductive. I think I binged on the whole thing in a single sitting -- or two at most -- because I was so totally glued to this audio ... but I was also very glad when it was over and I had my own, much more boring and sedate life back!
It starts relatively harmlessly, btw, but Jackson is really great at building up tension slowly and deliciously to breaking point ... and Bernadette Dunne is a master at transporting just this.

Oh my, this does sound intriguing, though.
I have a feeling you'll be able to handle this a lot better than I was -- I only hope you'll also enjoy the experience! :)

LoL. Yeah, i guess I can stomach a whole lot when push comes to shove ;). And I hope so too.

Themis-Athena, I love your description! "Psychological horror of the most sublime and seductive."

It really is! I wish I had thought of your line when I wrote a review back in the day. :)
Feel free to copy and insert it ...

Oh how I loved this one, and Dunn's narration completes it.
