Unbeliavable. I mean, what was she thinking?

Yes, well, that is the thing. Some people believe she was suffering from a mental decline by that point in her life, tho there does not seem to be anything concrete on record about that. Some biographers hint at some sort of dementia etc. but others refute this. One of the aspects I was interested in in John Curran's Secret Notebooks was whether he detected any signs of a decline, but apparently he didn't.

That´s what I was thinking. This reads like a an old womans mad ramblings, garnished with a lot of paranoia.
