I think I'm just a little bit of everything. When it comes to reading I just go where my heart and mind lead me and sometimes that is in several different directions.
Polygamist. Though usually the books that are not being read at the moment are like that because I don't feel like them. I usually have one main book running, a non-fiction for my serious mood, Game of Thrones that is a series I read some of from time-to-time. Then there are also the books that I started, kind of liked, but found something better. They may actually just be DNFs I'm not admitting to myself.
I vary between Extrovert and Monogamist depending on my mood. Sometimes I jump into alllllll the things and other times I can only handle one book at a time.
it really is funny how much my reading habits change based on my moods. If I'm stressed I want a light fun read, if life is pretty mundane I want something thrilling!

Oh yes we exactly know how it is. It's just a proof that reading is an import part of our lives, reading influences our lives, and our lives influences reading.
I'm a polygamist. I'll sit and read a chapter from each of 5 books in a sitting as happily as someone else will spend the evening watching one television program after another.
I guess I’m an extroverted half-monogamist with introvert tendencies.
Monogamist fits me pretty well except for the “loves re-reading favorite titles”. I used to enjoy that when I was younger because there were never enough books to satisfy me. But these days I have so little free time to read and so many books that I want to read. I therefore prefer to spend my precious reading time on new things.
Extrovert also fits me in that I tend to read anything people set in front of me. Among the people I know in real life, I’m the only person I know who read the entire car manual the last time I bought a car. I also enjoy switching between genres and occasionally trying new things, although I do have my favorite genres that I read the most often.
Introvert also fits in that I enjoy analyzing a plot and identifying with the characters. I don’t stick to one genre, though.
I'm definitely a Monogamist Reader. I hate reading more than one book at a time & so I rarely do this. I like to focus & get lost on 1 story at a time. I don't want anything to hinder my 1st impression of a book that I'm reading. The only times I've had to read at least 2 books at a time, is so that I could have a break from a book that I was determined to finish for some reason, even though it wasn't really grabbing me. And yes I'm a HUGE Re-Reader of many of Fave titles :)
I'd probably put myself somewhere between monogamist and introverted. I love love love re-reading my favorite books, but they're all a very similar genre, of which I read a hell of a lot. I've only recently got into re-reading recently, I guess I've only just found books worth reading over and over again, to me.
As a reader I am definitely a monogamous introvert. But i am also a publisher looking to build a list of altruist readers I can send free Advance Reader Copies to. If that's you, and you like crime fiction or YA, I'm at ascamacho@hotmail.com :-)
I'm a polyamorous, extraverted reader. I love many genres and writing styles and usually have several books in progress. Sometimes I recommend books, but usually I skip over that and go straight to Book Pimping.

Monogamist, as like to read one book at a time (but don't re-read). Extrovert as I will read mostly anything - covers are great to catch my eye, then I rely on blurb.
I do tend to finish most books though. Eventually.
One book at a time usually, but who knows what it will be!

The rest don’t fit me much at all.
