Hi! *waves*
Wonderful interview! I have been wanting to start the Dresden Files for awhile now, clearly I need to bump those up towards the top of mount TBR.

Yes! If you like Urban Fantasy, you need to check out the Dresden Files. I absolutely love Harry.

Ooh what she said!
I didn't know you could be banned from writing reviews on Amazon. Why is that? I find it really odd. Loved your interview!

Hi Leigha! Amazon has been doing that a lot in the book world. There's no warning, no email, nothing. They've done it to me like 4 times this year. I log on to leave a review and when I click the star rating I get a window that says I've violated a guideline. The thing is, no one can ever tell me what guideline. In fact, I never get a straight answer, and from what I'm understanding from others, it's the same with everyone. Recently, people aren't getting answers at all and inquiry's are being flat out ignored by Amazon.
That is a shame! It sounds like they want to brush the truthful (and sometimes lower rated) reviews under the rug. I haven't had that problem yet, though I'm not reviewing much on there. I always forget to, unless someone reminds me. When I review for Netgally or a book someone gives me (usually self published) sometimes an author will kindly nudge me to leave my review on other websites.)

Yeah, I think it's a combination of things with Amazon. I've heard several self-published authors say that when they get a certain amount of positive reviews on Amazon, their books are supposed to show up faster in searches and recommendations, and right when they're about to reach that magic number, reviews are taken down by Amazon with no explanation. I've reached the point that I rarely spend my money on Amazon. I always look elsewhere first.
