Nice to meet you too, this "Follow Friday" thing is really cool, it's great to learn more about people this way!
Hello Line, it's nice to find out more about you ... so how did you determine you're a Slytherin? (Great shelf, btw.) Love that garland in front of your two top shelves -- and the little Fender (?) guitar model a bit further down!

Pottermore told me I was Slytherin, but I already knew it in my heart! Thank you! The guitar model was actually used as a seating "card" at my friend's wedding!
Oh, that's bound to be the greatest seating card ever!

Did you expect to be sorted into Slytherin? (I could have sworn I'd end up in Ravenclaw, but it seems I'm a Gryffindor ...)

I would have thought I was a Ravenclaw but I secretly wished to be in Slytherin and I kind of expected to be sorted in Slytherin as well. I might be a Slytherclaw ;)
Heh. Then I suppose that would make me a Gryffinclaw? :)

Exactly !! :)

I love the Slytherin HP shelf! These interviews are really great. Loved you explanation of reading in the original language where possible. I do that, too. Translators (on the whole) do an amazing job, but it is different reading the original.

That Slytherin shelf is great! I say how great these interviews are just about every week, but really - they are. It's the best way to get to know just a little more about our fellow readers. :)

Yes, they are. I also look forward to them every Friday. :)

The funny part is that I am a translator... But I do also like to read translations to compare with the original and it is always really interesting (especially the translations of characters' names and other terms specific to the book, like in Harry Potter!)
