I really enjoyed Unwind by Neal Shusterman. Haven't read Ashfall or Legend yet, but they're on my list!

The only one of these that I've heard of was Divergent! I wasn't overly thrilled about it - Tris and Tobias' relationship really got under my skin. I did think the concept was cool, though! I actually loved The 5th Wave. It was the first sci-fi novel that I actually enjoyed, haha. I'm adding the rest of these to my TBR list. Thanks for sharing! :)

Rot and Ruin is probably my favorite of them all!, such a strong series, be sure to read all four! Glad I helped :)

Unwind was interesting enough. I'm reading Champion (3rd one to Legend) right now and its brilliant, much better than Allegiant. Looking forward to hearing both of your thoughts on these!

I liked Z for Zachariah, Star Man's Son (Daybreak), Farnham's Freehold, Foundation, and of course Handmaid's Tale and Solyent Green. But, I'm old. Published this century I've liked Mira Grant's Newsflesh Trilogy starting with Feed and ... well ... nothing else comes to mind except some urban fantasies set in the near future with conceivably dystopian aspects.

oh wow! Z for Zachariah is old school. I forgot about that book, I remember reading it in high school. I haven't even heard of the other ones besides Feed. I'll have to check them out!

All old school except for Feed. This recent one was more horror genre but good: http://booklikes.com/book/4837570/chihuahuas-of-the-zombie-apocalypse-steven-l-hawk

Looks bizarre, but something I would be interested in! Adding it to my "to read" shelf. Thanks!
The Legend series is absolutely amazing, right! I loved it so much.
Anddd the rest of my comment was deleted. T.T
My favourite dystopians would have to be Legend and The Hunger Games.
Some recs, though: Aberrant by Ruth Silver, ACID by Emma Pass, Runners by Sharon Sant, and The Forgotten by Saruuh Kelsey. :)

I'll check those out. I'm seriously obsessing over Champion right now. Nearly halfway through. So, so good. I couldn't seem to get into the second one but I can tell I'm going to be extremely happy with the ending.
