This is not a genre I read much but I really enjoyed "The Girl With All the Gifts" if you haven't read it yet. It's on my to be reviewed list. I'm a little behind :-/

No I haven't read it yet but it does sound really good! I didn't recognize the title at first but when I just looked it up I remember skimming the description of it not too long ago. I didn't even realize it was a dystopian/post-apocalyptic until now. Thank you for pointing that one out! I'm going to add it to my tbr. I'll keep an eye out for your review too in case you read it before I do. I'm a behind too which always seems to be the case. : )
I read it a little while ago. I'll try to get my review posted in the next couple of days. In my world TBR has two meaning ... To Be Read and To Be Reviewed. I should force myself to write the review before jumping into the next book, but I usually have 2 (one reading, one audio) going at the same time. Some day I will get organized.

Ok gotcha I'm curious to see what you thought but don't rush on my account because it will be a little while before I get a chance to read it. I usually have audio and book going at the same time too so I understand. I try to get my reviews done before I move on to something else but it doesn't always happen. : )

I’m glad you enjoyed this one so much! Did you know Wool has a couple of sequels? The next book in the series is Shift. Shift is more of a prequel although, if I remember correctly, some of the later parts take place concurrently with Wool. Shift finally explains how everything got to be the way it was in Wool. The third book is Dust, which carries on I think about from the point where Wool left off and had a more satisfactory ending.

I liked Shift, although not quite as well as Wool. I liked Dust nearly as much as Wool, aside from the loss of that “newness” and “what the heck is going on?” factor that made Wool so much fun to read.

Thx it was so good I didn't want it to end! : ( I noticed the sequels last night when I was adding my review to GR but I didn't know they existed before that. I was wondering if Shift continued where Wool left off because the description didn't sound like it at all. It actially didn't sound very good. Thank you so much for explaining because I was debating on whether to even read them or not. I am going to go ahead and give them a try now though. I am curious to see how it all got started.
