You do have to see the movie. My parents took me to see it at the drive-in theater when I was young. Man, that chauffeur scared the crap out of me and I had nightmares about him for weeks afterward.
Ooh sounds good but scary! : ) Do you think you would you be scared if you saw it now? Im just wondering how scary is scary? I can handle some stuff but movies like Halloween I try to steer clear of. Have you seen Ouija? My library had both Burnt Offerings and the original Ouija so I put a hold on them. Im going to watch this weekend so Ill let you know how it goes. : )

I haven't seen Ouija, and I saw Burnt Offerings as a young teen, so I'm not sure if it would be as scary now. However, over the last few years I've seen pictures of the chauffeur guy from the movie, and I find those/him to be just as creepy now as they/he was/were back then.
I'd love to know how it goes for you watching it now.
I can't wait to see this chauffeur! : ) I'm such a chicken though I hope I make it through the movies. Lol My hold is ready for Ouija so going to pick it up tomorrow but Burnt Offerings hasn't come up yet. Hopefully tomorrow! I almost bought the Amityville Horror movie today at Walmart for $5 but the pics & synopsis sounded way above my threshold so I passed. : )

Good luck with Ouija. If you want to see the chauffeur dude, you can just Google chauffeur and Burnt Offerings and he'll come right up. :)
