Good for DNFing.

Oh not the eyes, not how hawwt the eyes are *curls into fetal position having read one too many Anita Blake Vampire Slayer books * ...

Hahaha Debbie that's EXACTLY why I only read the first Anita Blake book. I love that we're on the same page!
I bet she often "released a breath she didn't know she'd been holding" as well. DNF seems the only humane option.

That and "burst into uncontrollable (insert tears, laughter, etc.)" I swear... TROPES.
I hate the 'only special magical virgin' trope because it makes me feel really, really weird about never having had sex. Like I have had people ask me 'really?' so I don't talk about it often, but ugh, this trope makes me feel like I'm wrong somehow, or not only broken but unfixable.

I thin I'm going to call out this trope and DNF any book that uses it in the future.

Well, maybe DNF any book published after maybe 1960 that uses it. I always loved how Norton's Witch World tossed that trope on its butt no matter how the different races and countries/worlds tried.

Well I guess if I need a special gate opened... I tease, I tease. This trope is totally ridiculous and, in my opinion, best left in the past like Debbie said.
Nope, just DNFing all this trope. Regardless of how well it's done, it's not about the author's skill or the plot. It's about me not liking it.
