I really feel sorry for the neighbors of our group homes. They see and hear some shit. Naked outdoor wanderers, screaming, constant traffic at shift changes, etc. There goes the damn property value!
I wish you good luck! (We have mostly long-time friends as neighbors, including one couple where the wife was raised in the house she lives in now - I've known her since she was a small child - and a church. Could be much worse!)
Thanks! As individuals, these guys are actually really nice and are always willing to be helpful; it's just once they had their two kids (both under 5 atm) that it all just got crazy; they don't have the strongest parenting skills (there's a lot of bribery with ice cream and chocolate).
I'm just hoping that the buyers will be quiet. Childless, retired or older kids, I don't care. I just want to enjoy my garden in peace. :)
Be careful with that wish for "older kids". We had some pretty stringent rules regarding what was acceptable " outdoor behaviour" when mine were teenagers ...they were good kids just hadn't developed certain social graces and filters.
I realise it's a bit dangerous... the house has a pool and I have visions of wild pool parties, etc. But I figure those would have to be fewer and farther between than the almost daily screaming (for hours) than we're getting now. Fingers crossed.
