Places like Gettysburg are important reminders; I don't even want to imagine what would happen to the world's collective memory if it weren't also kept alive in the places where it matters most. But it also takes people like Lincoln, and speeches like the Gettisburg Address to put their meaning into words in order to keep the memory alive -- in the era of "fake news" more than ever before.

Love your poppy! And I think there's a symmetry to the center-align that goes well with the image ... I actually like the way it looks.

I love Lincoln's Gettysburg Address; it's what ALL political speeches should be: humble, honourable, and on point. To me it will always be one of the greatest pieces of writing in history.
