Well, here's the karma of the thing: I went to bed reading "Murder of Crows" and DH said he found me 20 minutes later asleep with a cat on my chest and the book closed on my lap. I have no memory of reading any of the book and I have to start all over again today. lol...

I'm very happy you both liked the review. :)

Hope you enjoy it the second time around. Lol.
And I'm hoping I won't do the same when I pick up my next book to read!
Your non-review sold me. :) I just ordered from the library.

Hope you like it!

Yay! But, oh the pressure! At least it's a library loan. :D Hope you like it!
OMG, you were so right. I started and read without stopping until 4am. 5 stars and I'm too incoherent for a review. Thank you, thank you!

Glad you liked it, but get some sleep! Can't wait to read your thoughts, though.

Yes! So glad you liked it! I'm so sorry I didn't warn you not to start reading it at night. The book should come with a warning label advising everyone to begin reading no later than noon....

They really do!
Well, I was trying to avoid those pesky interruptions. And I did. But I didn't even get sleepy, which usually acts as a time-limit function. :)
Well, I just found out the series isn't completed. Must think of revenge book...

It's totally Degrees of Affection's fault - she started it! ;-)

Did not! It was...shoot, I can't remember whose review it was! Well...book reviews forevermore helped get me hooked on the Shambling Guides (which have zombies which I can't stand usually), and I've picked up...three continuing series from you. Ya know, if we were keeping track. ;-p

ROFL... I still stand a chance if we can use book weight as a measure. Between 50 Objects and the Smithsonian book... :D
wait, I don't know what the Shambling Guides are. That must be some other zombie-loving freak. But maybe I should check those out too... You ladies are evil.

@ book reviews forevermore - The Shambling Guide to New York City by Mur Lafferty. I can't find the review with the comments but I remember you commenting. But you might have said you wanted to read it. But I can at least point to a few more books on my TBR pile. LOL!
@ Murder By Death - Okay, you have a point on weight. *slightly scared look* Looks like I need to start picking smaller history books! :D Should we start keeping track of # of pages? I might still have a chance then.

:D Let's just call it even, and agree to continue each enabling the other. I was never going to stop buying books, but at least now I'm buying really excellent books thanks to you. :)

Found the comments and you're right, book reviews forevermore. Hadn't read it; planned to. Sorry about that!

Glad you think so, Murder By Death. It's true, we'd still be buying or checking out books, so at least we're reading good ones! So far this year has been one of the best for new books. I'm enjoying the new books so much, I'm close to being behind in my personal goal for my re-read challenge.
Murder by Death 8 years ago
Yeah, I had a re-read goal of one re-read every two weeks. Total fail. Just too many new books I can't put off reading.
Degrees of Affection 8 years ago
I know! I think the major re-reads for me have been the Mary Russell series. And a bit of manga.
