WTF? "Bullies and Internet Trolls?" Someone has been drinking the Kool-Aid.
They're chugging Kool-Aid by the gallons.

I really wish people would understand that there's a difference between criticism and bullying. When I review a book, I'm reviewing a product. And quite frankly, I don't expect or really at this point even want the author to read the review. Of course there are some authors that are really cool about reviews both positive and negative, but that's because they accept reviews for what they are (reviews).
Preaching to the choir, but sing it Howdy!! I so agree, and it can't be repeated enough.

I've got to say that this little sentence in that article annoys me greatly:

"Some bullies go so far as to threaten authors with assault, rape, or death, making it a criminal matter."

No screenshots, no evidence. Just blatant lying. How is that helpful on a website dedicated to talking about cyber bullying?

Well no wonder. I just saw the source of that article. Le Sigh. Are there no honest, hardworking journalists who actually research anymore?

Oh, I'm so fucking tired of all this. :) It feels like the same 5 people bitching about the same 5 things and every day they find a new website/blog/media outlet that hasn't done any fucking research and takes everything they say at face value.

Well, Nobullying.org has officially lost all credibility. I'm pretty sure this is a submission from a STGRB-er, but shouldn't someone on the site dedicated to abuse do some kind of quality control?
I'm considering writing to whoever in charge.

I've been bullied and know the difference between bullying and a review of a product. I think whomever wrote this needs to learn the difference and stop wasting everyone's time
Having been bullied (cyberstalking is bullying, I think?) FOR WRITING A NEGATIVE REVIEW, I'm sick to death of these articles claiming that the reviewers are the bullies, rather than people who are often intimidated out of their right to express their opinion about a work of literature (which is a term used loosely at times).
I wonder if Amazon owns the site that this article was written from too. This is getting above & beyond ridiculous.
