Ouch. This comes highly recommended to me. I do, however, have it in the original French.
Honestly I've found I often really sunny like the "official" translations of french into English. Ab example is one of my favorite movies, district b13. The fan sub (and dub) is so much better than the studio released translation, at times almost painfully so.

Caveat, by better I don't necessarily mean in terms of direct translation, but in terms of communicating the feeling and concept more accurately. The official translation on that movie (though I haven't seen the US remake with Paul Walker) has dialog that is just awkward due to differences in language use.

This comic has stuff like that. One that really stood out was "boo-hoo-hoo" to indicate that the person was crying, which interprets as more childish than fits the setting
