Honestly what I need to learn is ILS (or consortium) specific. I've had training in DDC and LC, plus metadata systems like Dublin Core and others (archives concentration). Add in that it's mostly copy cataloging, the amount of time since I had to do full cataloging doesn't really matter. And I know how to use the DDC books well enough to decide in the case of alternate classification options, as well as for truncating call numbers with excessive specificity.
Seriously through, I think the only area we'd go out 8 decimal places is cookbooks.
I don't work for a Dewey library, either, so I'd be rustier than you there. My area of expertise is more along the lines of low-budget batch editing, lol. Sounds like you're set, though. Enjoy your new duties!
