I have to ask a potentially obvious question. Are you reading the book? Or is this the audio by Dan Stevens? I'm only asking because I'm currently listening to his Agatha Christie narrations as my commute listen. They are fantastic. I'm just wondering if Frankenstein needs to be added to my play list.
I'm listening to Dan Stevens narrate the book. He does a wonderful job. The story is told in letter and first person accounts so it's a good fit for audio. Stevens also gets the cadence of the text right, which makes the slightly archaic language in multi-clause sentences easy to understand.
