I'm reading this too and I like the way the story is so far (I think I'm on Chapter 3). But, yeah, on the cover she's dressed like Daisy Duke and the WW of the West is pretty, yeah. Wow. They're all very buxom. And some of the lads are very ripped. I've noticed that this is the way with a lot of graphic novels. The pictures are pretty, though.
It's a graphic novel, and I'm well aware that depictions of women in graphic novels overwhelmingly cater for the male gaze.
However, I do find the artwork a bit confronting and even though I can suspend my disbelief and accept that a witch sent Dorothy to Oz, I find it much harder to accept these overly-busty women in skimpy clothes with boobs that look LIKE THAT with no support.
