I've always wanted to participate in one of these, but could never get my schedule to line up, though I guess the point of these is just to read and blog and cheer everyone else on when you have the free time. I might give it a go this time; I believe October 17 lands on my weekend off, so I'll be able to get a better feel for a 24-hour read-a-thon.

Awesome! It's going to be a great time. Did you ask for twitter cheering, since I know you are on twitter? I had cheering last time & it was fun!

I am going to try, as I live in the zero hour country (yay not having to figure out time zones!). I think I have a good shot as hubby will be home from deployment by then and he can watch/play/take care of the kids.

I've blocked my calendar. Now I need to plan my schedule... It will definitely be a horror-fest in honor of Halloween.

I'm going to try...weather permitting. Which means if it's raining. Spring is here and we have so much to do in the garden I'll never get away with blowing off a sunny warm day to stay inside and read. But I've been wanting to do one of these for years so... may it rain. :D

I'm going to be traveling on Oct 17 and I'm not sure if I'll have the internet, but if I do, I'll be cheering.

I'm still down for doing most of this. Kids have a craft session that day, but all the other hours can be devoted. I need to work on a list of books and get snacks.
