Btw, I started Murder in the Mews earlier today (because of the 5th November theme obviously) so I take it I can use this for the book task, right?
Which brings me to a general question: Do we need for a book task to be announced to count the book towards it, or is it simply enough to have read a book that matches the task during the 1st Nov - 31st Dec period?
I have no memory whatsoever how we did this last year, but unless one of the other hosts objects, I'd say it's enough for the book to have been read during the two-month game period. (In fact, I was about a millisecond close to commenting on your "Murder in the Mews" post, but held back because this post wasn't up yet at that moment.)
And *of course* Bercow had to make an appearance this year! :D
I believe this is how we did it last year - I myself have no objections to everyone fitting books in that were read within the game period a la Halloween Bingo.
To any of the 24 Festive Team (Host) - Your from for the main 24 Tasks of the Festive Season completion form does not have Door 4 - Guy Fawkes Night listed there when I went to report it. I even went though the new post for the door opening and tried to submit. It came back to the main Festive Task Completion form and I had to choose a door task and the one I was looking for which is (Guy Fawkes Night is not even listed and check more an then once)
And you have no idea how much I am digging the Bercow. :D
