This book sounds so good! I've only read one Terry Pratchett book for, but I loved it, so I think I'll have to add this one to my TBR.

The discworld series is quite large, and Pratchett actually did very well to maintain a good standard throughout the books. Testament to his skill as an author. However, over 40+ novels, some strike stronger chords with people, than others, and they are not in strict linear fashion. You might want to take a look at the diagram of how the books relate to each other, and plan a reading pattern from there. - one of the problems with the later books is that they start to need knowledge of the earlier books. Pratchett tries to explain some of the language and social quirks in notes at the bottom of some pages... but it got to the point where even these notes needed their own notes! I'm currently reading "Raising Steam" which is book 40, and my knowledge of Discworld dwarfs has sadly slipped into a deep, dark gold mine.
