Very nice Carly, Thank you
! I'll be adding this as soon as I get to the end of that help thread :D
It's not working for me (method 2#) Just takes you to the top of a page. ? Any suggestions?

Hm...it sounds like the javascript is triggering but there's something wrong with it. I know at least one other person who got it to work, so it wasn't just a fluke for me. Can you screencap or copy the text of those same three areas that I screencapped? There's no PM'ing here, but my GR account is here: http://www.goodreads.com/user/show/4490040-carly
Sure, I'll find you on GR ;)
the first one isn't showing or am I missing something?
You need to highlight text. Then it shows.
no I meant the stuff I have to put into the HTML.
Fuck, yes. You're right. It 'ate' the code.
THANK YOU! It's working now ^^

:D What does the HTML editing page bit mean? I don't know about that (My HTML is kinda rusty as well as a bit
old-school...)

Method 2 toggles spoiler off/on just fine -- but the durn review first appears with the spoiler text displayed. How do I change it so you have to click spoiler to see the spoiler text? Kind of defeats the purpose of a spoiler tag to hide spoilers if the spoilers show first.

Check you post. I tried the first one without the code in the Custom CSS box and it does the same thing as in your reviews. Don't forget to hit save!

Thank you! It works on the blog but I'm wondering if it's working in people's dashboards.
That's not a big problem since someone gave me the great idea to page brake the review and lead everyone to the blog anyway. But I'd still like to know if I have to be careful...

Hi Sunny, Debbie, and Marianna, apologies for the long delay--I haven't been online for the last week or so. Unfortunately, Marianna, you're right--it doesn't work anywhere that doesn't use your header definitions. I think you could manually insert the same script in every review, but it would be awfully painful. I emailed a while ago asking if BL would just implement this logic and they said not at this point. So unfortunately, you either have to be careful or possibly insert all of the javascript into the HTML of the review itself. I'm just trying to insert "--more--" breaks before I hit any spoilers; that way spoilers only appear on individual review pages, which do use your header code.
