What annoyed me in this book more than anything was Nico(la). Ugh. Not a heroine I favored.
Nicola was young and whiny for sure...that's why I couldn't suspend belief that Marcus would fall for her.
Exactly. She seemed much younger than the 20-something she was supposed to be. I didn't think she was a good match for him at all.
I love this series but this was the one I liked least. I didn't care for the heroine or feel the couple had much chemistry.
