you will certainly enjoy Char. I got an old copy from abe books and it's a very good quick read...I bet that Valancourt copy is very nice :)

Most of the hype and comments on this book are true and the last 1/4 really does move the story/fear/uneasy elements upwards a notch. The fact that the story length is short in nature in my opinion works to its advantage and makes the overall effect more dramatic...so why not 5 stars you may say? Just a personal opinion and I would be surprised that anyone reading this great little thriller/horror/darkfiction will not be afraid to award a similar 4 or 5 star review.......
