Just as I finished Submerged I noticed Where Eagles Dare on sale on amazon uk at 0.99p so i thought I would revisit been a long time since I read it :)

That was a great book & a lot of fun! I just love books that are set in the snow, ice, caves, under the sea etc. etc.. I'll have to see if it's still on sale, if so I think I'll get it too.

Have you read and are now going for the HB edition? It was certainly one of those books that thrilled from the start! Actually reading Where Eagles Dare has really shown to me how far the adventuring and thrilling aspect of books has advanced, although Where Eagles Dare is a fun read it was a book for it's time, a little formulaic which is something that could not be said for Submerged.

I read the old edition before. I haven't read the new blue & white cover that Amazon is showing. Is there a big difference in the two?.... I'm about to do a buddy read on Dead Sea by Tim Curran. It's set on the water about a ship w/ ghosts, sea monsters etc. : ) but it's also a horror/ thriller adventure like Submerged. Have you read Night Train by Monteleone? It sounds good -I want to read it too.

yes looks interesting as well I have Dead Sea in paperback in my tbr but have never got round to reading
