True. I'm guessing it slipped past like something always does (or it was a last-minute edit that mangled the sentence).
Ugh. Vampire hour ... (though even with vampires it's not the pupils but the "whites" that turn red, right?)
I'd also consider irises turning red believable, since this happens in nearly every anime with vampires in it. When it comes to bloodshot, though, that's the whites of your eyes only.
Yeah -- makes sense, I guess ...
I'm still thinking about a book I read where a character was eating an apple with both hands in his pockets... And no, it was not hanging from somewhere...
