Yes, I think I have gone through phases of each state.
I'm just curious, what are the descriptions for the other 3?

Upholders are internally motivated--they just get up each day and do the things that need to be done. Obligers are good at doing things for other people, but have difficulty doing their own projects. Questioners spend a lot of time asking why something should be done--if they get a good answer, they will do it. Rebels resist doing things they are told to do, even taking medications or doing things that will directly benefit them--unless they view it as a personal choice. They make decisions on a case-by-case basis (which I would find exhausting).
Thanks, Wanda. I think I'm an upholder. :)

I have one sister who is an upholder--I sometimes wish that I could just get things done the way she does, but I have to accept who I am.
I'm an obliger to the core, with a touch of rebel in my reading. :x

Yes, I think we embody aspects of all 4 types in different areas of our lives.
