I want people to read this book so I can talk to them about it but then I think it will probably turn into a bunch of awkward silences, avoiding eye contact, and a pledge of "we shall never speak of this again".

Lol.. I can see that. I read over the synopsis and a couple of other reviews and it looks a bit to far over the line for me; I got the impression there's a lot of hate and degradation? Don't think I could stomach that...

Well, he does cal her a slut in some hot and heavy scenes that start off harsh and then if it's possible, lovingly. This story definitely had elements that would cross several lines for people. I'm stil not sure how I feel about it
