Agree. I'm about 3/4ths of the way through. I love Gabriel and Pandora together, but the conflict between them was pretty much resolved at the midpoint when she agreed to marry him. It's nice to see them married and figuring some things out together, but the tension between them is pretty low-level. Still, I'm loving it, but sometimes I'd like to be more worried about how an HEA is going to come together.
Gabriel never showed up strong enough for me, he spouts some romantic lines, a bit cheesy at times, but his character was mostly paper thin. Yep, I know the destination but please give me an exciting journey there!
Just finished it last night. Loved it. I agree that Gabriel wasn't as well-rounded. It's tough because his dad (what a weird thing to say in romance) had SUCH AN ARC. I agree. I wanted to see him falling for Pandora. He kind of just fell and was content. His little bits of jealousy over Winterbourne were funny tho. Not sure who the next book will be about but Kleypas seemed to set up two heroes in this one, not including West.
I was thinking the sister Cassandra but there wasn't any hints to who she could be paired up with, maybe Severin. The doctor Gibson and Ransom(I think that's the name, the detective) seemed to have a moment and their book could be coming too. A lot of possibilities!
Yes! Maybe Cassandra and West? I loved Gibson and Ransom. :) I feel like this series gets better with each book. Odd to say that about a long time published author, but hey.
