They both look like fun reads. What's Orphan of the Rhine about?

Orphan of the Rhine is one of the Horrid Novels (books that Jane Austen mentions in her books). It's included in this book:

That sounds hilarious. So these are the books that made Austen poke fun at the genre in Northanger Abbey!

Some of them are funny, some are boring. I liked a few, but you definitely have to read them with a view to the time they were written or you'd break your eyeballs from rolling them so much.
