I'd like to point out that a lot of people (especially us autistics) have *no* respect for Baron-Cohen's work, and frankly, no one should. His work is bullshit. So many of the studies he does are so obviously skewed towards his personal biases.
I think his "work" has done more disservice to people diagnosed with autism & their families than help, so it's nice to hear that he isn't respected by autistics. Hopefully, sooner or later his works are going to be recognised for what it is - crap.

Yeah, better avoid it. But if you want to read good book about gender differences Cordelia Fines' "Delusions of Gender: How Our Minds, Society, and Neurosexism Create Difference" was very interesting.
