That stinks. I'm sorry for the tease but it might be better read in paperback anyway. The second person storytelling & the unreliable narrator sometimes confuses me. I often wonder if what he's just said was said aloud (to whomever was in the room) or if it were only in his head. I think it might be less confusing read in book form.

I can definitely see this being a confusing audiobook, what with how much Joe talks to himself. I doubt it's just you.

The sequel HIDDEN BODIES is as good as this one. Won't say it's better, but Kepnes maintained the freshness of the original by switching styles and taking Joe out of New York. I highly recommend reading it when it comes out in September. :)
