Fortunately I haven't picked up the other three. I learned that lesson a few years ago.

I have to agree. I loved the geeky hero. The rest of the series was meh. If you're not liking this one, I say game over.

I do love Carter the geeky hero. He's the only reason I keep reading. I'll give it another hour or two of my life and see how it goes.
I basically read it due to Carter's cuteness, lol. It was an okay read...the second one didn't work for me , but I loved the third one! *.*

Can the third be read if I skip #2?
Yes, definitely!

Thanks!
I only read this one, didn't finish the series. Personally, I thought this one was pretty boring and it spent way too much time discussing wedding planning details.

I hate the mother story line. It makes Mac appear weak. I'm only enjoying things when Carter is in the scene and he's not in a lot of them.

What gets seriously annoying, is the rest of the series is constantly bringing up how cute and geeky Carter is. So it totally stopped working for me.

I finished the series and rather regret it. The heroines all work, live (very close) and play together. And they are all besties and basically they are rather self congratulatory about it all in the most precious way possible. You'd think so much togetherness would result in some moments of tension or the need to just get away from each other once in awhile. But no.

Yeah I can see how that would get very old across four books. It's getting old in book one.

I think I'll finish this one and avoid the other three.
