I am suitably intrigued by the Helen and Achilles love story. I would never have thought of those two paired together but the story was fascinating and I agree, someone should build on that in the modern day.

I startle at loud noises (no idea why) as in all but dive for cover, so I can understand your issues. And tangents can get you into a LOT of trouble.

I'm easily startled, tending to both jump and make a gasp or other noise. I don't scare easily, but it's dead easy to make me jump.
