I think it was around then for me, but I'm awful with dates. I think the only negative out of it was with Carlin - and not about language but food. Dad was amused by the "something is wrong inside a tomato - it looks like it's in the larval stage!" bit, and repeated it a lot - and I took it to heart and refused to eat tomatoes. And didn't until college. Mom was NOT pleased with him. He did the same with fried eggs, but without any Carlin quotes. (Dad was not good at thinking about end results with funny stories.)
