I agree, it was easy to find Archie and Richie Rich in the 70s - also Casper the Friendly Ghost.

The only superhero ones that I could talk my parents into were Superman and Wonder Woman. (Their own favorites when they were growing up.)

I didn't realize how many Archie ones I'd read until I was commenting on them somewhere and realized, hey, I seem to know way more about these, did I read that many? Oddly I never liked them enough to actually keep the comics - they were totally disposable. And hey, I was also reading ones that my parents were familiar with and had read in their past. Am thinking that's a trend. Which I get - parents feel some content that they know about is ok. Just wish dad had read some superhero stuff.
Yay! Please, please, please review? I'd love to hear your thoughts even if 'why isn't Ratbat used more often?' or 'red/purple color combo, yay!'

And yes. I'm so glad I got someone else to read these!

I am full of wanting more of certain kinds of designs and wondering why they don't reuse them. I bet there's probably some background info on some of those that I'm just not aware of - or perhaps just wanting to save certain looks to keep some characters iconic. That'd make sense. But I do like the idea of taking things like bats and dinosaurs and making meka versions of them - apparently I can't get enough of that.

Heh, this is indeed totally your fault, Grim! I said that to myself a weekend ago after I spent like 5 hrs watching a bunch of Prime shows. Oh smiling at the time, of course.
Fault? Or awesome thing I did?

There's an actual rat coming up later.

Oooh! Do you still love Prime? I know I do!

It's the ol' "I blame my happiness on you!" phrasing! And so definitely awesome. :)

I really love Prime. It's also reminded me what else I miss when reading the comics - the voices. Really fun voice acting in them.
Don't watch the Justice League episodes where Ratchet plays the Question. So confusing! It might not be for you, though :P
