I think this is because of the being able to customize which bookstore you link from. So if I add the book from Bokia in Sweden, and you add it from Kobo in the US, for instance, even with the same ISBN, it gets it's own page, and our reviews won't be together.

If BL can implement an aggregation page, would solve this. Even if it doesn't merge all the reviews like GR does, being able to see "Amazon US edition, 11 reviews" and click through would be a huge help. I'm pretty sure I saw that somewhere in one of their posts as being on the cards. Meanwhile, I'm just being a lot less picky about which actual edition of the book I add to my own shelves, and if I want to hunt reviews, I quick search the amazon us and on the book popup go to "Book page for this edition.", because that one seems to have the most reviews on by default.

And you're welcome for the reviews tip, I was sooooo happy to figure that out myself!
I think Dawid said in one of his recent posts (don't ask me where, though -- it might have been in one of the "exclusive shelf" discussions) that they're working on the creation of a consolidated page. I agree, that's a biggie I'm hoping to see sooner rather than later as well!

@krazykiwi - I'm not worrying about editions over here either, but I'm keeping the info on GR for my backup list atm. (I'm packing to move, so I do want to know that stuff!) And I would not have figured that tip out for a long time!

@Themis - oh good, it has been mentioned for later. At least it's not in here and I was missing it. I don't mind waiting for it as long as it's on a To Do list somewhere - and to be a social book site the ability to find multiple reviews would have to be part of it, otherwise it's just not as helpful.
Somewhere down the line I'd also like to see consolidated "author" pages (featuring an author portrait, brief bio and links the the authors's works with associated BL reviews), but I think before they start creating that they'll need to get the template for consolidated book pages in place ...

I did manage to find a book page, and in the comments MandyM shares how to find it:
http://batgrl.booklikes.com/post/562689/wait-a-second-here-s-a-book-page
That's a start, but damned difficult to find -- and do we know this is really a page for ALL reviews posted for this book, regardless how the individual reviewers have sourced it? The way you currently find it (sourcing it through Amazon, or another specific option in the search bar) would suggest that you also only see the reviews of those who have sourced the book through the same preset option that you yourself have chosen in the search bar. I.e., if you look for the book sourcing it through Amazon, you might not see the reviews of those who have sourced it through Barnes & Noble or Kobo. I have no idea whether this is true, but if my recollection is true that Dawid said they're still working on a "truly" consolidated page, then probably there's SOMEthing that's still missing. But anyway ... seems there, too, things are moving in the right direction!

It's not, that's what I was getting at before (badly phrased and all): It only aggregates for that edition at that store - I tried adding same book from Bokia.se with the same isbn, and it is separate. It's a "good enough" workaround for me for right now though, as long as real aggregated pages are on the way.

Just from looking at it today it still looks to be a work in progress. It's pretty clear they're still building the database that produces this view, so I'm betting it'll look better and be easier to find given time. But the mere fact that it exists is a relief to me. I was thinking I'd only be able to see reviews of people I follow - I want an idea of how everyone is reading/reviewing something.

Oh and I don't know if it will end up being a page for all reviews or not. I hope it is.

Go to your dashboard. You see the box where you type the name of a book to search for it?Type a name like for example "Captured".Click on the result displayed and this window will open up and in it you have options like "create a post"/"add to bookshelf"/"go to Amazon" ABOVE that there is a line that says "Book page of this edition" in green.Click on that and you will go to the book's page where reviews are posted. If you click on a particular review, you will be able to read their whole review on their blog.Hope this helps. :)

Heh, MandyM helped me find that -
http://batgrl.booklikes.com/post/565474/post
- for some reason I'd never seen that text before. I can't tell if it was just small and my eyes were drawn by the larger button choices or the book cover - or that I'm just really unobservant!
