Lovely quotes - keep the book! I'm going to look at it myself. :)
It's really hard to know what to hang onto sometimes! So far almost everything I can now get on ebook has been pretty easy to give up - but there's a LOT that I'm hanging onto that's out of print, so I feel like I really have to keep them. There are LOTS of boxes in my future!
I'm glad you decided to keep it. Any book with such lovely memories and thoughts attached to it should be treasured.
Writing this made me talk myself into it, pretty much right in paragraph 5. It's almost like I knew that would happen! Heh.
