It made me realize that too - and it seemed even weirder to me that I've read articles year after year about the number of female authors reviewed vs male, and yet that still didn't make me think to count up the books I read yearly by author's gender. I'll make time to do that later this week - and it's something I'll see if I can keep an eye on this year. (Now to figure out how to name a shelf for that...)

Huh. I'm backwards then. I know I read too many female authors. I have a "male authors" shelf to encourage me to read more men.
