I just picked up the Cosmos Hardback during the book sale at the start of March, my original having been lost years ago, and I've been rewatching the original Cosmos TV series too, alongside the new one. I can honestly say, they may cover some of the same ground, but they're different enough it's very enjoyable, and Neil de Grasse Tyson has that same sense of "I have this NEAT THING to show you" excitement and wonder that Sagan had when presenting the original. I'm thoroughly enjoying both.
I still have my copy of Cosmos from when it first came out. Possibly a Christmas present?

I think Neil is doing a good job, and I'm enjoying the show.
That eReaderIQ site is very interesting.
So enjoyed GIRL SLEUTH when I read it!

There it is. All $2.99 of it!
That is a stinkpot thing about the publishing industry, this idea of territories. Sorry about that!

It does always make me frustrated that if you're not in the US this sort of post reads as "a great sale - just not for you." Ever since I realized this was the case I've tried to slap a big US in there as often as possible. I'm sure it's probably a really boring and practical reason (sales taxes or something) for Amazon, but I do hope eventually they'll have sales that are available in multiple regions.

I wonder if that has anything to do with the sudden price change from 4.59 to 7.99 - the price 4.59 is kind of odd for an ebook since they seem to go with .99 cents more often than something like .59. Maybe something buggy going on in the programming.
